DDR Concept has announced the development and engineering for the new Ford ‘DDR600’ Explorer ST. The high-performance SUV is based on the all-new Ford Explorer ST, to which Dave Comstock has applied his extensive expertise to boost power and improve the capability of the All-New Ford Explorer ST.
DDR Concept will significantly enhance the SUV’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. The powerplant is rated at 405 bhp and 430 lb-ft of torque in stock configuration. DDR Concepts boosted output to 600 bhp, and 565 lb-ft of torque, and the powerplant is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission sending power to an all-wheel drive system that will have you dominating the streets just like Daddy Dave. The extra horsepower will further improve the capabilities of the Ford Explorer ST DDR600 with DDR Concept engine management software upgrade, Hennessey Exhaust System upgrade, DDR Concept High-Flow Air Induction System upgrade, DDR Concept Heat Exchanger upgrade, DDR Concept Suspension Upgrade, DDR Concept Intercooler upgrade, DDR Concept Catted Downpipe upgrade, DDR Concept Differential upgrade, DDR Concept 20″ Velgen Wheel upgrade, DDR Concept Exterior “DDR” Badges, DDR Concept Front Bumper, & DDR Concept Street Hood.
