Yes, all Ranger trims have received a ground clearance increase from 8.4 inches to 8.8 inches. The base 4×4 models have also received a ground clearance increase, going from 8.9 inches up to 9.3 inches. As a result, the approach and departure angles have also seen increases. The approach angle goes from the previous model year’s 28.7 degrees on the base 4×4 models all the way up to 30.2 degrees; the departure angle has also increased from 25.4 degrees on the base 4×4 models up to 25.8 degrees. Thus, you get more out of the Ranger regarding off-road traversal and overall better functionality.
Performace Profiles
The 2.7L EcoBoost Turbo V6 for the Ranger delivers 315 hp at 400 lb-ft of torque. These extra powertrain capabilities mean you get more off-the-line power and more stability when towing, hauling, and trailering. The Ranger also manages a max trailering capacity of 7,500 lbs and a max payload rating of 1,805 lbs.
Optimized Interior
The interior textures and materials have all changed inside the 2024 Ranger, along with all-new compartment spaces and the use of the interior cabin for storage; this gives you a lot more space to utilize for your belongings, such as the under-seat hidden storage compartment in the second row or the center console storage with the upper glove box storage.
