Fix Your Ford Focus Key Fob
Is your Ford Focus key fob not working? One of the most common reasons for this issue is that the battery needs to be replaced. Fortunately, this can be done quickly and easily. With a few simple steps, you can be back on the road with a functioning key fob in no time.
How to Replace the Battery in Your Ford Focus Key Fob
Inside your key fob, you will find a mini key. Take it out and insert it into the underside of your handle. This will allow you to pop off the right-hand side of the handle, where you will find the insert to unlock the vehicle door. To replace the battery, simply unscrew the cover and insert the new battery. Once you have replaced the battery, you can reassemble the key fob and use it to unlock your Ford Focus.
How to Use a Push Button Start
If your Ford Focus has push-button start, you can use the key fob to start the car. Just place the fob inside the console, where you will find a key holder located at the very bottom front side of the console. Set the key there and click the start button. Your car should start right away.
